Cycling holidays that take your breath away

Slipstream /ˈslɪpstriːm/

Slipstreaming is when you ride closely behind the person in front, benefitting from a reduction in your overall drag, thus making your ride easier than being alone.

It’s not about being able to ride as fast as possible to get to the finish line, it's about achieving more through the power of a team to spend more time enjoying the moments.

This is our philosophy.

Destinations: Morzine

From the shores of Lake Geneva to the peak of Mont Blanc, Haute-Savoie is a region of the Alps that has it all.

With a history dating back more than 1,000 years, Morzine is a quintessential French alpine town. From monasteries to mining, to farming and now skiing Morzine has been through many changes over the years while still retaining its charm.

Only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Geneva airport, means you will have more time enjoying your holiday and less time travelling to it. Morzine has a lively atmosphere day and night. By being set in a valley there are a lot of options for routes each day; from gently undulating valleys, to small punchy climbs, to 23km cols.

There are plenty of great coffee shops, bars, spas, and adventure sports operators to enjoy the time off the bike almost as much as on. Morzine’s a town that really has something for everyone.

Why Morzine?

A tennis player may never get the chance to play a match at Wimbledon, a footballer at Old Trafford, and a rugby player at Twickenham, but you have the chance to ride the same epic roads as the pros take on during Tour de France.

Many people associate Morzine with its world-famous ski and mountain bike area known as "Les Portes du Soleil". Those who follow the Tour de France and Critérium du Dauphiné however may remember Lance Armstrong blowing up in the 2000 Tour claiming "it was the hardest day of my life on the bike". The most recent 2022 and 2023 editions saw the carnival of the Tour coming back to Morzine and a tough mountain stage finishing over Col de Joux Plane.

The Rides

Day 1 - Arrival

Upon your arrival at Geneva airport, you'll be met by your driver and brought to Morzine. Here, at your chalet, you will meet Sam your guide, and your chef. Afternoon tea will be waiting for you. Depending on your flight time you may get out for a leg stretcher if you wish.

Day 2 - The Classic

This will be a medium mountain day taking in some of the Rhône-Alpes’ smaller but no less beautiful landscapes.

Day 3 - The Queen Stage

Here you’ll get to take on some of the most iconic climbs of Haute-Savoie. The sort of day that glues you to the Tour de France, and the stages you never forget.

Day 4 - R&R (Riding and Recovering)

A shorter day today to ensure your legs are recovered and ready for the two more rides.

Day 5 - Rest Day

Enjoy all that The Alps has to offer by having the day to yourselves. We can give you ideas of how best to explore the area or if adrenaline is your thing there is rafting, canyoning, or paragliding on your doorstep.

Day 6 - The Monument

This will be the longest stage of the week riding alongside Lac Léman (Lake Geneva) soaking up a seaside feel surrounded by the Jura mountains on one side and the Chablais Alps on the other.

Day 7 - Finish on a High

There are still more Cols to conquer and this final day will include an ascent of Morzine's most notorious Col.

Day 8 - Au Revoir
